Born in Trenton, NJ,
Dave Gallagher played seventeen
seasons in professional baseball. He was a major league
baseball player for nine of those seasons, playing for
seven different organizations. While with the Chicago
White Sox, Dave finished fifth in the American League
Rookie of the Year voting in his first full season in
1988. He also played for the Cleveland Indians,
Baltimore Orioles, California Angels, New York Mets,
Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies.
Since retiring as an active player in 1996, Dave has
used his vast experience to teach young players. He
served as hitting instructor/consultant for the
Trenton Thunder (Boston Red Sox Double-A affiliate), head coach at Mercer County Community College and head coach at
Notre Dame High School. Dave has also
been involved with youth league baseball with his sons Evan and Logan.
Dave has given private hitting instruction for over 20
years. His ability
and desire to teach youth players eventually
culminated with the opening of the The Dave Gallagher
All American Baseball Academy at Frogbridge. The academy
has flourished since opening in November, 2002.

Born in Staten Island, New York,
Rich Scheid pitched in the Major Leagues for the Florida
Marlins and Houston Astros. An All-American at Seton Hall University, Rich was also a
USA Cup Team member. On
July 17, 1994, Scheid had a strong outing against Dave Gallagher's Atlanta Braves!
Brice pitched professionally in the Boston Red Sox organization.
A.J. Brack played for four years at Rollins College (Sunshine State Conference) and five years of minor league baseball.
As a left-handed pitcher, A. J. is sixth all-time in strikeouts per nine innings (8.63) and tossed the first no-hitter in
Rollins College history on March 15, 1999 which included 15 strikeouts. A.J. pitched internationally for Hellas Baseball
and was a member of the 2002 Northern League champion New Jersey Jackals.
A.J. has been a baseball instructor for ten years. He has worked at several academies and camps including the Griffey
International Baseball Camp, Nike Baseball Camp and Wilson Baseball Camp.
Bobby was a catcher at Coastal Carolina University, formerly head coach of Hightstown American Legion and currently the head baseball coach at Neptune High School.
John is currently a catcher in the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He has played for the Single-A, Double-A, and Triple-A affiliates and hopes to get his shot with the big league club in 2008. John was drafted by Toronto out of the University of Delaware, where he was a catcher with the Blue Hens from 2000 to 2003. John graduated from Lawrence High School in Lawrenceville, NJ and has been a part-time instructor at the academy for the past three years.
Ken is currently playing a professional baseball in the Frontier League. He has been a catcher in the independent leagues for the past four seasons. Prior to professional baseball, Ken played for Dave (Gallagher) at Mercer County Community College and moved on to play at William Patterson College.
Pete has been a coach in South River, NJ for more than ten years. He was recently the head coach of the South River junior legion squad as well as a hitting instructor with the South River High School team. Pete has done hitting instruction at the academy since 2005 and previously worked at All American Baseball in Spotswood, NJ.
